About the Circle of Champions Endowment

Abilities are all that matter in the heat of training and competition. During these moments, strengths shine through, and disabilities yield to the champion within. Special Olympics North Dakota (SOND) makes it possible, changing lives year after year.

Your gift to the Special Olympics North Dakota Circle of Champions Endowment (SOND-CCE) guarantees that Special Olympics will make a difference for many years to come.

Financial security for SOND. Tax benefits for you.

In addition to supporting Special Olympics North Dakota, your gift may qualify you for a federal tax deduction and a significant tax credit in the state of North Dakota.

Roger Kerns

About Roger Kerns

Dr. Roger Kerns first realized the power of Special Olympics at Soldier Field, when he traveled to Chicago with a group of children for track and field events. He brought inspiration back home to Fargo. During the summer of 1972, he organized and founded the first Special Olympics games in North Dakota.

The SOND-CCE capital campaign honors the legacy of Dr. Kerns by making a permanent, positive impact on people with intellectual disabilities.
